"119" Fire Safety Lecture and Drill

In phone numbers, "119" is the fire alarm number, and these three digits are psychologically acceptable to people.

The 119 in China is not merely a telephone but an advanced communication system. It can exchange information on major disasters with any place on China's territory and also mobilize disaster prevention and rescue forces via satellites. Fire information can be provided to the top fire command at any time by phone. In fact, Channel 119 is a disaster prevention command center.

National Fire Prevention Day is set on November 9th every year. The number of days on November 9th happens to be the same as the fire alarm number 119. Moreover, around this day, it is a time when the weather is dry and prone to fires. All over the country, winter fire prevention work is being carried out in full swing. To enhance the public's awareness of fire safety and make "119" more deeply rooted in people's minds, the Ministry of Public Security, based on the "119" fire safety activities carried out in some provinces and cities, initiated in 1992 and designated November 9th of each year as the National "Fire Safety Day".

To further enhance fire safety awareness, master basic fire emergency response measures, and ensure the personal and property safety of the company and all employees, the company held a fire safety education and practical drill at 7:45 a.m. on November 9th on the basketball court in front of the comprehensive office building. Among them, the focus is on promoting fire prevention, emergency escape skills and precautions.

Subsequently, the usage method of the fire extinguisher was explained and demonstrated. Entering the practical drill session, the key personnel and employee representatives from each workshop carried out emergency fire extinguishing. They had to run to get the fire extinguishers within 15 seconds and spray out the fire source with the correct usage method to put it out.
